How was Rioli?
not good. Needs a rest or a stint in the vfl. Looks tired.
Was involved with at least 20% of our goals..... :whistle

Bit late of mayo on that Doc. According to the footy live app he only had 2 goal assists, and with 16 goals for the day, that Ain't 20%.

Didn't he kick one too? That makes at least 3 which is just shy of 20%. I thought he had a hand in another too making 4. So whilst I might be wrong with the latter, I wasn't that far off with my comment.... :whistle
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

This win was reminiscent of our crappy wins last year . Extremely uninspiring.

Type of match you delete off the foxtel IQ without a second viewing .

Four points was crucial though.

Cons: very poor standard of football and horrible accuracy in front of the sticks.

Pros: I thought Vlastuin's game back was good and he looks settled. Miles was the standout for me as his work at the stoppages  with Martin really gave us good first use of the ball going forward. And of course Martin's individual performance was great also after half time

That was a putrid game from a mediocre side.

Dumb Richmond mistakes coming off their worst game of the year

Richmond would have been especially determined to play well after its worst performance of the season last week, when it was thumped by St Kilda by 67 points.

Early on, the signs looked good. Cotchin was involved multiple times as the Tigers kicked a goal in the first 30 seconds, with Jason Castagna snapping it through.

That early indication made it seem as if Richmond would assert itself for a comfortable win, but over and over again Damien Hardwick's men made silly errors.

Castagna missed a snap he should've put through, while his set shot later on went into the man on the mark.

A Jack Riewoldt dribble kick barely connected with his foot, when it should've been a goal.

Shane Edwards' handball in defence went straight to Hugh McCluggage, allowing Dayne Zorko to kick a goal.

The Tigers came away with the victory but missed a chance to boost their percentage, which could be costly come finals time.

Thought Cotchin was outstanding today

Like watching a doco of a Tiger catching it's prey and then playing with it rather than ripping it's limbs off and licking it's lips as it swallows the last piece of flesh.

Very hard game to watch and honestly based on what I saw today we commit way too many turnovers to match it with the top sides, just kills momentum with so many turnover merchants in the side. Not even sure now who in a pressure situation I would feel relieved to see with the ball in their hands because everyone at some stage seemed to be guilty of the same thing.

Some of our passing was below VFL standard and wouldnt have been surprised at any stage to see a runner head out to a number of players carrying an eye testing chart. Maybe for the Tigers along with the concussion test they also need to instigate an eye test so after a horrible turnover occurs they should stop the game as the offending player is taken off and has to pass the test before being allowed back on.

Its not just that theyre turnovers bc we're going for high risk high reward type plays,  they are almost always just really dumb, simple, unforced errors akin to putting an easy smash into the bottom of the net.

I've always said the day we stop doing this so consistently is the day we'll win a flag bc we are our own worst enemy

What did we all think of Griggs game today?

I personally think he is just a nothing footballer.
He gets plenty of footy but is just so uninfluential. He has some good games but is he really the answer when finals hit to have in the team?

These are the sort of players that this club need to weed out. He seems just happy enough getting his paycheque and getting to seasons end. Could you say he would do anything to get us a win?

Does anyone else think the same?
And does anyone else think there is anyone else in the same boat?

I actually thought Nank was solid today. Not so much inside forward 50 but did some good things around the ground I thought.

Fair enough  :clapping. It's at least worth giving a little longer to see how it goes
