I see what you did there conveniently burying away two of his worst seasons. Maybe you should exclude last year as well to bump it up a little further.

Let's be fair and look at his career stats holistically.

According to the link above he has a winning % of 49.1% over his career.

If you averaged 49.1% in tests would you be satisfied? Just ask 65.

We may as well have travelled the outcome over the years on the flip of a coin because statistically we would have done better than trying to win under Dimma.

Ok - so hes gone from a winning percentage of 31% in his first two seasons ...to basically a 50/50 record now.

He is 0-3 in finals . He was once 0-10 in H&A - things can change quickly. 

He obviously wont get 10 chances in finals but I give him credit for abandoning the old game plan which brought moderate success in 2013- 15 and flopped last year -  to reinvigorating and reinventing Richmond in a year where most of the faithful tipped bottom 4.

Pfft...took a club review and a clean out of all his yes men to force him to change things....even now we still return to the old ways when we're under pressure...and his grubby fingerprints were all over dumbarse selections like Morris, Hunt, persisting with Lloyd & Elton for weeks on end while Lennon's banished after two games and Menadue's dropped for no apparent reason.....not to mention the still glaring lack of in-game moves when we're being overrun...all classic hallmarks of the Halfstep era...

Ross Lyon is obviously failing at the moment.  29% in the past 40 games .

each to their own willy. Im from the camp that after 7 years, he needs to perform in september to be considered a good coach. As it stands now he is anything but that.

FFS people are saying brad scott  isnt a good coach and he got them to prelims.

Don't rate him at all .Yeah he got them to finals and to preilims won nothing tho and toped up and recycled to many players and now left roos in a massive holes very little youth.Shouldn't have blooded kids instead of keeping Harvey so long recruiting Waite etc.
