Richmond AFL star Trent Cotchin dance routine goes wrong

Richmond AFL skipper Trent Cotchin is known for his elite football skills but it appears his young daughter isn’t quite as easy to handle.

After being left alone with his two young girls, the Brownlow medallist decided to have a dance with little Harper.

“When you pop out to a dress fitting & come home to videos like these,” his wife, Brooke Cotchin captioned the video.

The choreographed routine seemed to be going to plan, with Cotchin tossing Harper into the air before putting his handling skills to the test.

Spinning the youngster like a basketball, the Tigers midfielder loses his grip for a split second, dropping poor Harper on the ground before scooping her back up into his arms.

The youngster breaks into tears as dad brought the routine to an end.

Richmond fans will be hoping the fumble is not a sign of things to come after Cotchin led the club to their first finals win since 2001 last weekend.
