I guess Graham is the future and we do have a wealth of mids.

I know Miles can't get a game, bit I am not sure we do have a wealth of mids.

I would be pushing for a mid-late 2nd round pick personally but we'll probably just do the right thing and facilitate a move that benefits his career.

After seeing Hunt given so many chances he has a right to feel aggrieved IMO.

Good luck to him.

To be clear - Miles can pretty much go wherever he wants. His contract ends this season.

Yeah. I think it will be a mutual agreement though. Richmond threw him a lifeline when his career was shot. He's a nice bloke and I don't think he'll want to string up the club, but I also think we'll facilitate a trade of his choice. Maybe just grab a pick for some points towards Naish...

He's unlucky but boy did Prestia and Caddy perform when it mattered most .

Reckon Jonty Scharenberg as a late pick/rookie would be the perfect replacement for Miles... :shh

I am still amazed that no one took him as a rookie.

I have always loved Miles and have always had big wraps for him. He works hard and even though he doesn't do the super flashy stuff he gives us first use of the ball. Really helped us win the 9 in a row in 2014, was also solid in 2015 and laid a good amount of tackles that stick even though we were a "low tackling side"

He is only 26 next year and would still be able to do a lot of grunt work for the next few years but for reasons I can't fathom they don't play him. I am still of the mindset Dimma just hates him for no good reason ala Tuck.

I just pray to god we are healthy for 2017 because if we get an injury to an inside mid we are stuffed.

Gold Coast would be fools not to grab him. They badly need hard bodied mid's.
Brissy could do with him too.

Agree. I hope he resigns but understand if he does not given the way he has been treated.

Where would Miles sit in our best 28 players??
he would be in the top 4 mids we have based on output and reliability.
MARTIN, COTCHIN, PRESTIA, then  MILES.

As a mid i prefer and think he has easily outperformed  all of
Lambert, Grigg, C Ellis , Caddy, Townsend, Graham, edwards, Conca, McIntosh, Menadue B Ellis.
When you look at this last group you cant but relise how much reliance falls on the first 3 and first two in particular.

I am a bit dirty on how Miles has been treated, has been consistently solid as a ball winner in the tight stuff, never shirked it, always put in.  I hope he is rewarded for his hard work somewhere else if he is not appreciated by the Tiges.

Miles was told he would be played with certain other players due to his abilities.

I'm assuming this was relating to his leg speed. Hard to play guys like him and Caddy in the same team when we are trying to play much faster football.

Shame though, crowd favourite and personal favourite.

Disagree he has easily outperformed Lambert

Think Lambert has been VERY good
