Richmond’s lowest score at the G for almost 100 years?

The abhorrent off-field culture at this club has permeated on-field.

Was inevitable.

Second consecutive pitiful, embarrassing loss in a row for the extremely overrated, Dusty’s coattail riding, favorable-fixture Tigers.

Looks like the AFL assisted flag run is over.
Quote from: Neil Stewart
Off-field cultural issues will eventually take a toll on on-field performance.

This fall off a cliff decline has been many months/years in the making.

Tough break. Wouldn’t want to lose our last remaining non MCG game vs the comp’s basket case. Maybe we can get the league to refixture it.

Yeah must be all that travelling from the MCG to marvel stadium, thoughts and prayers to all at Richmond.

I’d throw in the towel when you lose to a team that lost to Norf

At this rate the tigers would rather play in QLD to get a win

Not far off 9th…where you belong.

Richmond is done. Your "loyal" supporters have abandoned you. Can't play all your games at the MCG mate, your not that special. Can't wait to see you guys in the bottom 8 again.
Quote from: boshd
Must be the massive amount of travel you had to do. Duck off Richmond

Would’ve needed a raincoat getting to the bench last night if the crowds were there. They’d be spitting on him again like 2016.

Our plan should be to win another 3 flags from 2022 to 2030. We also need to invest in stealing the bayside suburbs from St Kilda with a proper program aimed at generating supporter numbers from Port Melbourne going all the way to Portsea. St Kilda is an easy target. Never been successful. Our colors, the Tiger symbol and the song can attract kids from their over the next 20 years.

Astonishingly petty of the Richmond coach to blacklist the radio station that Wilson (arguably the club’s chief public defender and number one PR rep) is employed by.

Of all the ways to implode.

Bear witness to the downfall of the egomaniacal Richmond Tigers.

More likely they finish ninth and Mario is nuking his membership card again
Quote from: Neil Stewart
Not to mention WC belted Richmond when they played each other in 18
Quote from: Neil Stewart
Of course it’s a comparison.

AFL and NBA are worlds apart.

Bulls didn’t have a fraction of the advantages the Tigers have had, and Tigers haven’t even had half the success.

Both did entirely base their success on having one dominant, all time great player though.

Contrary to what Tiger nuffies think, I have to reiterate what the whole league thinks; He [Dusty] is NOT the GOAT.

Sure he's probably one of the best finishers in the league, but he loves sits on the outside of the contest waiting for the easy ball. Effort in the contest is what separates him from players like Fyfe, Danger, Judd, GAJ etc. Having 3 Norm Smiths doesn't mean anything when everyone knows at least 1 of them were gifted. You need to accept the fact that being covered in tatts, having an army of bandwagons along with that funny haircut is literally one of the main reasons he stands out and has been gifted most of those accolades. He is nothing more than a decent mid 95% of the time.

How can a player that only turns up one month of the year be even considered in this convo??
Quote from: CarltonBlooz
The funniest part is he goes missing for 99% of the season, ah Tugger flogs, never change.

sHut uP u caRlton suPPorter fLOG u are terrible

Also lmao at the tugger flogs defending Dusty like he's their own child it gets better day by day, comedy gold.

Thankfully he'll fade into obscurity like Richmond in the coming years, thank god when that happens.

All that will remain will be

heartburn
Quote from: Piggy2008
is this just some thing for richmond fans to talk of how good there players are, in my opinion yes and Dusty is not even close to being the GOAT, and they think he is so tough with his dont argue, which is not the case, and richmond will be bad in a few years same with dustin martin, i cant wait for that, these few years are probably his good years then he will just be another over rated, floghead richmond player
Quote from: Piggy2008
3 of his 4 goals in 2020 [Grand Final] were after the game was won
Quote from: Piggy2008
richmond supporters are the biggest flogheads in history and theres like 100000 members which makes it worse

Wow

Even I am not sure he's the goat

Goat for tigers maybe

But clearly 3 of his 4 goals were when it really mattered. Unbelievable comment. 1 goal got us some momentum. 2nd got us the lead. 3rd sealed the game. 4th iced the cake.

That last effort vs Geelong was clearly his best norm Smith. I actually rated houli higher in 17. 19 was just a bloodbath anyway. 2020 he lifted the team and drove a effing stake through the cats hearts.

The thing with all the non Richmond AFL fans is that they have hardly watched 10% of Richmond games. Only watch when their team plays us and may have watched the Finals and Grand Finals.

They are missing out on so much joy and the beauty is they don't even know.
