True, Richmond rely on snaps at goal, scrubbing the ball along the ground and punching it forward. It worked against us because our team balance was shot. Parfitt and Bews were terrible, but there were several not much better. The extra handball to a player under the pump happened with regularity. Sometimes it's better to just kick the ball forward. Two Geelong players competing against each other while one Richmond player waits for the ball to be fumbled out. 3 Geelong backs going for the mark against 1 Richmond forward. 5 Geelong players swarming in the honeypot while 3 Richmond players wait for it to be squeezed out. The video will make for interesting viewing during the week.

The crowd of 58k tonight was pathetic, there is no amount of tiger fan crying that should be able to stop them playing at KP next year.When they do have a whinge, point to this game and ask where the other 50k members were.
It is an indictment on Richmond that we were alive so late and that their million dollar midfield got thumped in clearances by a VFL side. The Taranto and Hopper deals will haunt them for a long time.
