Horrendous errors Andyy.

Look im honest i think hes a decent enough player but im not a huge fan im not a big critic either.
Like you and all tiger supporters i like the tiger in him.

For me a keeper but he is not a player you build a team around imo. Hes more of a role player imo.

Agree
Can’t build sides around hobbits
But he’s a bloody good role player
One of my favs

At least you admit now that he’s a keeper

When i say keeper i mean you obviously not going to delist him.
I would weigh up a trade though depending of course.

The one id really like to see what we could get for him is Short.

EVERY player is available league wide
Anyone that thinks any player in untouchable is in denial

All it comes down to is price ..

I would trade any player on our list if we got significant overs ..

EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS - Liam Baker

SEN
19 April 2023

Richmond fans have long loved Liam Baker.

The diminutive and versatile Baker constantly gives his all in a variety of roles, and more often than not gets the job done.

It could be seen as tricky for a player who has finished equal fourth and equal second in the past two best and fairest counts to exceed expectations, but he certainly has in 2023.

Baker has gone to another level in defence this year, averaging a career-high 26 disposals, six rebound 50s and five marks.

He has been a shining light for the Tigers, particularly in the last three defeats.

Liam Baker is a keeper.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Is so often on the end of a handball at his feet or a wild kick and makes it work and I think anyone but Baker and that's a turnover

Someone needs to invent a stat for it

Liam Baker in 2023

Pressure: #7 in the AFL

Intercept Possessions:  #8 in the AFL .... most of these are tall interceptors. Only Saad is the other small/mid-sized player in the top 10.

Score involvements:  #2 .... in the AFL as a defender, only behind Nick Daicos.

Torn on this bloke - like him & reckon he'd make a good captain in the Tony Shaw little mongrel vein but also reckon he's not irreplaceable and would be good trade bait....now we have Taranto as a possible quality candidate for next captain I'm starting to lean slightly towards the latter... :shh

Understand what you’re saying but Baker types don’t grow on trees.

You can’t teach what he’s got.

Baker is a lock and one of those players that are untouchable IMO
