I'm really loving everything this bloke brings.  Hard & tough but also skilled, a fast thinker too, makes good decisions.  Not afraid to take on the game, makes me feel comfortable when he has the pill & goes across goals ....     :whistle

He doesn't get much love from the commentators compared to Balta and Bolton, but this guy is so important for us. Cool, calm, fearless and hard as a cats head.

Goes back with the flight vs Hawkins.

Goes back with the flight vs Dixon.

I mean seriously is there a player in the AFL with more kahunas?

Agree

I reckon he is our most improved player this year and there is a lot of competition for thst accolade this year

He has to be minimum top 8 in our B&F, maybe top 5

Baker is an amazing player- so clean.
If he was 6.2 and played as a mid he would be considered as one of the best in the comp. Our recruiting staff are absolutely brilliant!!

If he was even just 2-3 inches taller he'd be virtually unstoppable... :shh

Kicked a ripping goal but apart from that was largely unsighted. Just the eight touches and two tackles.

Liam Baker on SEN before 4pm with Sam Edmund & Robert Murphy:

AUDIO: https://player.whooshkaa.com/episode?id=741643

--------------------------------------------------------

* Looking forward to this week. One thing about losing is it makes you keen to make up for it the following week.

* We spoke about given away 50s this week. It will cost us the game if we do that again.

* If he gave away a 50? Go straight to the bench and not wait for the runner.

* We have great belief. Just because it doesn't happen too often (going all the way after losing your first final) doesn't mean we can't do it. The Bulldogs did it (all the way from seventh). We've got to beat St Kilda first and then hopefully we can build some momentum from there.

* Butler has been in AA form (squad). They've got other good players. We'll need to play well and to our strengths to get the choccies.

* Dimma gives him a licence to play to his strengths. He goes for the (loose) ground balls while going for marks is more left to Grimes and Vlastuin.

* Lynch is unbelievable down there in the forward line flying from all directions. Bakes is sure that Lynch will show his presence from early in the game.

* We've reviewed the St Kilda game quite a bit. How they got us last time. We'll back our strengths to win it just as they will back theirs to beat us.

* Although there was only a 20k crowd at the Gabba they were going nuts so it felt the same as last year. There will be a smaller crowd this week but it will still be good to have the fans there.

He started the game on Lonie and was on fire in the first half, dashing out of the backline and using it effective by foot. Clearly one of his best games in the last month.

Had eight intercept possessions. Didn’t use it too well but eight of his 12 touches were contested.
