Does anyone know where to buy tickets for a game at the Gabba?

I have had a little look but there doesnt appear to be much info on the AFL website.

Also for those who have been there before, what is a good area to try and sit?

Cheers,

Bull  :gotigers

That's your best bet, as for where to sit NFI as I haven't been to the gabba yet, been to carrarra though !

Geelong and Tassie will be my 2 interstae trips this year - Well they are pretty different down geeeeloong way ya'll here  :cheers

The Brissie game isn't up on the ticketmaster site. It does have a seating chart of the Gabba though Bully.

Best place to watch is from a corporate box....... ;D

But for the rest of us it would depend where you typically like to sit.

Most of the seats on the centre square are season ticket holders so they are hard to come by. If you manage to get online the day they go on sale you might want to look at level three rows a-d around from the posts Vulture street side.

I sat in the richmond interstate members section last year and it was fantastic (much nicer people imo).

The Gabba corporate boxes are quite nice -  :thumbsup
I've also scored one at Sydney once - mmm, the Tooheys  :cheers box lol  :cheers

And the rest of the stadium is good too, Bully.

Drinks last time i went there was at the Storey Bridge Hotel - that's where all the supporters went back to.

In what part of the ground did the interstate Members sit?

It depends - last year some of them were seated near the cheersquad (goals to the left if you are watching on TV) some others I believe were over near the players race.

Last year I sat with cheersquad - as a cheersquad member you can get tickets that way. The season (2004) before I sat with the interstate members on about the 50 metre line near where the players run out :thumbsup

Bull,

Interstate members get their tickets through the Club as part of the Interstate membership ticket and these tickets aren't available to Melbourne Members. What you could do is speak to the membership dept and find out where the interstate members are going to be sitting and then contact Ticketmaster and ask for seats in the same area. That's what I did last year when I booked for the Port Adelaide game :thumbsup
