If Melbourne poach him, the first training session with Brayshaw's brother will be interesting.... :shh

7 weeks for what Barry Hall did seems very inadequate now.

I hope Gaff gets 10 . Wether he's a good bloke or not should not be taken into consideration.

Forgetting of course that his other brother is already his teammate.....

Andrew Gaff will learn his fate on Tuesday night after his crude punch on Fremantle youngster Andrew Brayshaw was referred directly to the AFL Tribunal.

Match Review Officer Michael Christian unsurprisingly graded the off-the-ball strike as intentional conduct with severe impact to the head, leading to the Tribunal hearing.

In a statement released on Monday, the Dockers also revealed that the 18-year-old will not be able to eat solid foods for a month as a result of the punch.

With some people calling the 8 weeks a fair punishment and others calling for a longer timeout, PEDESTRIAN.TV asked reigning Brownlow medallist Dustin Martin what he makes of the whole debacle during an interview for our footy podcast, Balls Up.

It’s in the AFL’s hands, the Tribunal knows what they’re doing. He’s got 8 weeks, so he’s going to have to have a rest. I think obviously it was out of Andrew Gaff’s character, I don’t think he meant to hit him that badly in the face. He’s very sorry, hopefully everyone can move on. And hopefully [Brayshaw] recovers well.

Hawks up 57 - 37 on the Cats late in the 3rd qtr

St Kilda defender Nathan Brown has been sent straight to the Tribunal for his late hit on Adam Saad, which saw the Essendon speedster stretchered from the ground.Brown has been charged with rough conduct, with the bump categorised as intentional, high impact and high contact (to the head).

Interesting that it was sent straight there. I thought it was a good bump, just a fraction later than what's acceptable. Saad was completely not expecting it so wasn't braced and his body whiplashed which caused the concussion.

Thoroughly enjoyed hearing the Cats lose. Eat that Chris Scott you whining little turd.

Wow umps did everything they could to help Melbourne.
Gutsy win by the swans

Alir Alir is shaping up to be a solid player, I really liked his game today. A couple of errors but overall stood up when it counted.

Watching Melbourne lose is an amazing experience
