Poor conversion & shocking umpiring keeping Casey in it...
Was that the one where Ballard was tripped and then got pinged for holding the ball? :facepalm

....and the Morris deliberate rushed behind, several blatant head highs missed, obvious htb's not awarded....

...how good was that handball in traffic from Coleman-Jones on the near side wing.... :shh

1.8 since half-time.

We were away with a free on the wing for HTB but the ump then reversed it.

Bolton leaps on F50 and then tackles to win the free. His shot from 55 goes to the top of the square where it's rushed.

And another behind. That's 1.10 since half-time.

Moore gets it back for us from the kick-in 70 out. Goes to the top of the square and it falls into the lap of Coleman-Jones. Finally we kick straight. Goal  :gotigers

Rich  14.18-102
Casey  12.7-79

Nice play off HB starting with Ballard. Stengle centres and Moore marks 20 out. Goes around the body instead of the drop punt but he kicks it anyway  :gotigers.

Dominated from midway through the first qtr to the end.

Only negs were the first 12 mins conceding the first 5 goals and then our poor conversion. Could have won by 10 goals plus had we kicked straight.

The biggest individual positive news was Coleman-Jones. Teamed with Soldo (good too) in the ruck and kicked 3 goals himself (almost had 4 if not for the final siren). Sheesh he's quick and mobile for a big bloke  :o.

Completely the opposite to how he was described by certain "experts" on another board who essentially wrote him off after his first practice match.... :shh
