Snag Burton and give the value to the Dawks for Wingtard?

Rate him highly but not really the type of player we need be using our first pick on right now....which is what we would have to give up.... :shh

Having said that...I wouldn't exactly be devastated if we did....the kid had a serious case of second (senior) year blues this year but he also has some serious talent...... :shh

You know horse flesh. This kid can play. Future star. Can't have too many of those. However maybe Hawthorn know something we don't. His previously severely broken leg limiting his potential? I certainly liked what I saw last year

It didn't seem to limit him last year....speculation on the Hawthorn BF board is that is he started to get a bit ahead of himself this year around the club....also had a shocker of a finals series....... :shh

Anyone thinking we should be making a play for liba? After the past few years don’t think he would command a large salary or have major currency in a trade - maybe something like lloyd + 2018 2nd round draft pick will get it done.

I know his off field behaviour has been well documented and his past few seasons have been average and injury plagued but given he’s 26 would anyone take the chance? Seems like just the inside mid we need - clearances, contested possessions and tackles. If we could get him back to his 2013-14 levels then we would be laughing.

I personally don't see it happening, however it doesn't mean It's not worth asking the question.

I just feel the premiership player, son of a club champion etc would still give them reason enough to think they can straighten him out and get him playing good footy.

There’s a bit of swell on BF that something Richmond related will pop up today during trading.

Nothing to do with Scully though.

The scully to hawthorn rumours now hitting mainstream media. Not sure why they need all of chad wingard, tom scully and isaac smith off the wing.

Generally what Hawthorn want, they get. Especially when they’re in the “box seat”.

Although Prestia and Lynch reverse that trend somewhat 😉

Hawks have offered 15 & Ryan Burton for Chad Wingard.  They've lost the plot. Officially

:gobdrop this must be a joke. I would have Burton over Wingard straight out but including 15.....this is nuts.
