Your favourite moment of the season so far?
« on: June 25, 2018, 05:37:01 PM »
The RFC website has posted its top 5 favourite moments of the year so far:

1. Dustin Martin’s brilliant, banana-bending, last-quarter goal v Carlton, Round 1, MCG

2. Trent Cotchin’s desperate goal-line save that results in a match-sealing Tigers’ goal v Collingwood, Round 6, MCG

3. Bachar Houli’s great individual effort on the wing, which leads to a Jacob Townsend goal v Fremantle, Round 7, MCG

4. Shane Edwards’ clever toe poke to Josh Caddy, who capitalises with a big goal v Essendon, Round 11, MCG

5. Daniel Rioli’s running, knock-on effort on the wing, chase-down tackle and goal v Geelong, Round 13, MCG

This is left field ....but really enjoyed the second quarter fight back against West Coast .It was brutal Richmond football . Rest of the game was rubbish though.

There were some exhilarating moments during the final quarter against Geelong. That Butler kick still makes me smile . Castanga burning off Toohey was awesome.

The retirement of Shaun Hampson

May the memory of him wearing a Richmond jumper be on the pile of fading rubbish memories of like recruits from other clubs that fell out of those teams rubbish bin for us to somehow want to collect...

Kent Kingsley, John Annear, Troy Chaplin, Brad Fox, Rory Hilton, Craig Biddiscombe, Adam Houlihan, Taylor Hunt, Mitch Farmer, Paul Hudson, Ian Herman, Aaron Edwards,  Justin Blumfield, Ashley Blurton, Todd Breman, Simon Eishold, Gary Frangalas, Simon Fletcher, Clinton King, Trent Knobel, Terry Wallace, Aaron James, Steve O’dwyer, Mark Neeld, Ricky Nixon, Brad Miller, John Rombotis, Kane Johnson just to name a few.
