Going To Freo, does he just walk  and we get the AFLs pathetic attempt of compensation
He is unrestricted as he is not in the top money earners at the club. We will get nothing for him if he leaves.

Not quite true, we do get the pleasure of seeing him stinking it up for some other club
:lol
I didn't think laterally enough for that!
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Not that I’m complaining, far from it but it looks like this trade period/end of season we will potentially see the back of
-a past number 6 draft pick (Conca)
-a past number 12 draft pick (Cellis)
-a past number 15 draft pick (Bellis)
-a past number 19 draft pick (Griffiths)

That’s some pretty decent picks that haven’t worked for various reasons.
None I would lose any sleep over.

Jack Higgins, Dusty, Floss, Jack, Cotch, Tross, not all bad

Even if he was going to produce compensation, we would lose it if we sign Lynch?

B Ellis has be more then serviceable was fantastic last season and his finals were very good is miles ahead from others.Others dead wood cut your looses and go to draft or get a few state league players.

Yes I agree, would be satisfied if they kept him and moved the others on

If worst comes to worst and BEllis stays then Hardwick at least needs to end this folly of playing him in defence and move him back to the wing with maybe some stints at half-forward....if he does that it might help us to a threepeat......of Liston Trophy winners...... :shh

Was a general question.

Is it right that if you lose a player via FA, then sign someone FA in the same FA class, you get no compo?

That’s correct. They weigh up FAs in vs out.
