As defending champion its disappointing we couldn't go back to back but no one can say we didn't do justice to the achievements of last year. We defended the title as best we could, footscray didn't give a yelp after their flag. So for me it was a successful year that didn't end with the result we wanted. Hopefully next year our players are hungry to take back what was rightfully theirs.
