I thought Jack Ross showed good signs as well

Balta, Ross, RCD good.
Players under pressure round one
B Ellis
O Markov
D Butler

Always good to win.  No injuries.
Hopefully we learn to not start matches half asleep.

Balts and Arabs were fan... RCD was good.
Markov was also very good I thought... Ellis usual game and Butler needs a few games to get going.

Butler was very poor.

RCD showed exciting glimpses but clearly not aerobically ready for AFL yet. :shh

Ross already looks an upgrade on Graham ....bigger, quicker and actually gets the ball... :shh :shh

If Butler, Edwards & yes even Rioli were cleaner more & one-touch we'd be unstoppable. :shh :shh :shh

Conversion still a worry - disappointing after the accuracy in the intraclub , obviously even the minor increase in pressure of JLT had an  effect. :shh :shh :shh :shh

Soldo - yep still useless.... :shh :shh :shh :shh :shh

As for the umpiring - looking forward to our hat trick of free kick wooden spoons - on track to do it again in a canter.. :clapping :gotigers :clapping

That about sums up my thoughts but I’d put Butler’s output a couple of levels below Rioli and Shedda
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

While agree Graham didn't have great day a bit harsh on a bloke who's only been back in full contact traing for less than a fortnight

Was equsl highest tackler though

I love what Graham brings to the team and he's also a down to earth no fuss bloke. I see them both complimenting each other for years to come. :shh
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.
