Cogs on the footy show with Hutchy

* Glad he was told early in the week as he'll be nervous by gametime.

* Spoke to Terry. There was hint he might play last week but when he got the confirmation this week it was just relief and he's feeling energetic. Feels better than his first game.

* He would love to say the past 3 years have gone quickly but it's been a grind. A big hurdle to get over to comeback. He's feeling very lucky to be in a position to play again when at times he felt it would never happen.

* Brayshaw said the Club thought Cogs would never play again and he would just walk away from it because of all the injuries and setbacks were too much. A credit to Cogs that he stuck at it to get back.

This is ridiculous.

More than likely he will break down again and ultimately be a waste of a career spot.

LMAO@ Richmond supporters getting excited about a bloke who hasn't played in 21 years
because his body is dilapidated.

Good luck to him but ffs....,

Now much new from Richo in Hutchy's interview. Most of it was just repeating what Richo said on the RFC site. He said he went back on to take a defender deep in the forward line which allowed us to keep up our midfield rotations. Richo also said there's changes to the list every year and with six 30 year old we may all not be around next year. Hutchy asked Richo if he could mentally handle it if he never played again. Richo replied it would be disappointing if he didn't play another game this year and then didn't get a new contract but there's life after footy.

you forget to mention One Eyed Richo said "he was asked to sit in the forward line and take a defender deep" Watch interview again.

Why the hell was he asked to go anywhere except the medical room by anyone at the club is a question that will never get answered.

Yeah daniel he was asked after he was given the all clear by the medical people who he supports 100% and has complete faith in

And guess what :o  He said yes. I suppose the reason why he said yes is another question that will never get answered either  :P

I did mention it didn't I - "He said he went back on to take a defender deep in the forward line which allowed us to keep up our midfield rotations." Obviously once the medicos gave the all clear the coaching staff would tell Richo where to play.

Here's the interview for those that missed it:

Browny on the footy show

Browny on the footy show tonight.

He said hopefully back this week and we get the points. People who said he was dropped and it wasn't a groin injury look a bit silly.

Lyon asked Browny if he is definitely playing. Browny said yeah but didn't sound or look that certain about it. He also said it was good to have Petts back in a midfield/HF role.

Lyon then asked Browny about being one of the 30 year olds and his contract. Browny said if the club at the end of the year says that's it then he'll accept the decision. He wants to go on as he feels the injuries have robbed him of footy and extended a couple of years onto the end of his career. Being injured hasn't done himself any favours but up to him to play some good footy over the rest of the season.

Browny hopes Wallace coaches to round 22. Plough has been very upbeat as anyone. The younger players are lively. Up to the senior players to be up. If Wallace was to go early it would mean we as players have played poorly. Up to us to play some good footy. Got some good players back this week.

Crawf said we're the most frustrating side to watch. One quarter we're really good and then the next its so disappointing. You can't watch them. It frustrates not only Tiger supporters but it frustrates fans of the game who don't even barrack for them.

Hutchy said if we don't a game in the next couple of weeks it will be announced that Terry is leaving. A decision will then be made if he continues to the end of the year or not.
