Hmmm what a surprise out of the four young draftees there were two kids from Melbourne and North and then we have Brayshaw trying to get David Swallow to put on a North jumper like his brother Andrew and telling the kid historically brothers like to play together. You wish James! A club needs money to poach players from other clubs  :wallywink. I'd be more worried if I was him of Andrew heading to GC to join David given the Suns have the salary cap concessions :yep.

Yep the Jimmy and Gary love fest bring Melbourne and North draftees in for a sampling of some media friendly scrutiny. If my memory serves me correctly last year they had 5 of the top 6 draftees on TFS with Dusty declining to appear. Choreographed poo. :rollin

Yep. Almost as ridiculous as Essendon paying Bomber Thompson $900k to be a assistant coach  ???.

I liked David's answer about getting his brother to go up there. That put Brayshaw in his box you could tell he didn't like it.

Jack Riewoldt will be on the panel on next week's show (Wed April 27).

Btw all (Lyon, Ling, Thomas and Crawford) but Sam tipped North to beat us.

Sam tipped North too.

I'd rather us be underdogs to be honest.

Barrett on now saying the GWS have a 2 year window to get uncontracted players. Where as GC had 1 year?

How is that fair?

Any big tiger names out of contract at the end of 2012?

I thought Sam said Richmond under his breath but with Sam who knows he probably did say North. I wasn't paying attention to be honest lol.

Cyril & Ryder.

And it is fair because every club tried to lock in players for 2011 to stop GC and by doing so a lot of contracts were extended to the end of 2012.

If GWS didn't have a two year window every decent player would have been squared away.
