Just curious. Of all the players who have swapped clubs would we want any of them in a black and yellow jumper?

Gold Coast willing to pick up Alex Keath in the PSD if Adelaide and the Dogs don't come to an agreement.

Dogs currently offering pick 45.

https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-trade-period-2019-alex-keath-western-bulldogs-adelaide-gold-coast-preseason-draft/news-story/3839ce63eb6d6e7b51b96b674d5f48ed
If we get pick 58 for Butler, would anyone here be willing for us to swap 19, 39 & 58 (948+446+170=1564 pts) for the Dogs' 13 & 45 (1212+347=1559 pts)?

The Dogs then could give Adelaide a 2nd rounder (39) for Keath rather than their current 3rd rounder.

And we'd have picks 13, 38, 41, 45, 75, 77.

I could live with that, apparently Balmey has arrived which means we are doing some business or we aren't doing any business
Balmey would be there for the Butler deal at least.

The above scenario would also allow the the Dogs to offer their 32 & our 58 back to St Kilda for Bruce.

If it was one multi-club trade:
Richmond:  19, 39, Butler ---------------> 13, 45
Gold Coast: 58 ----------------------------> Smith
Geelong:    Smith ------------------------> Stevens
St Kilda:     Bruce, Stevens --------------> 32, 58, Butler
Adelaide:    Keath  -----------------------> 39
Dogs:         13, 32, 45 -------------------> 19, Bruce, Keath

The Dogs might have to chuck something else in for Adelaide.

Ignoring that we have no TPP space to move, if Brad Crouch swaps clubs then he would be the only one as another ballwinning inside mid wouldn't go astray. We're not reliant on clearances to win games but, as the GF showed, if we ever dominate winning the clearances then we totally smash opposition teams.

The answer to other players who have swapped clubs is a simple NO!

But you cannot consistently win both clearances and the next contest. Our plan is not to just concede the clearance more to make sure there is pressure on the clearance. That way it is a hack kick or handball and then we go to work on pressure to achieve a turnover. And because our guys are in pressure mode it is a quick flick to all put run attack.

ALEX KEATH will not play for the Crows next year under any circumstances.

His manager Neil McMullin today told the Herald Sun that he has ruled out any return to his former club.

"There is absolutely no way Alex will be at the Crows next year. I couldn't be clearer than that," he said.

His camp is eager for the trade with the Dogs to go through but Adelaide is intent on securing the No. 13 pick that Luke Beveridge's side holds.

It means there is a chance he could be forced into the national draft, where his former side Gold Coast could secure him.
