RE: Freo interest in Menadue. He's uncontracted so can basically just walk. If Freo wants to discuss trade options for Cerra then that would be nice, but would take a half decent pick to get us over the line. Menadue is an absolute steak knife.

Pick 5 & 9 for Danniher.

Ollie Wines for Fantasia.

You gotta love  the bombers this time of year....

 :snidegrin

Laughable! They'd be lucky to get anything more than pick 9 on its own for Daniher I reckon.

Fantastia and 9 would have to go to Port for Wines + change (their 2nd rounder maybe)

Doubt he leaves to be honest. He know's there's a spot for him in a dominant side, vs a basket case rebuilding. I mean if they offer him absurd $$ then fair enough, but otherwise I can't see him leaving.

These Bogans just might try nabbing Jack Graham also, If they lose both the crouch boys they just might have a go.

Apparently into "a gun mature age mid from WA" according to some BF random...there were vague whispers re: Gaff earlier in the year...can't see it though...maybe Fyfe's not a fan of the Longmuir appointment.... :shh

The football world would collapse if we got Fyfe. We would be the Real Madrid equivalent of the AFL. Hehe, fun to imagine though....

For whatever reason I think we're a sneaky chance to get Cerra. He's as good a buy-low candidate as I can think of in the market at the moment. I wouldn't think he'd be on too much $$ (and we could surely fit him in anyway with Grigg and Ellis $$ off the books now).

Richmond had some interest in Sydney’s Zak Jones and has spoken to his management about a deal if the St Kilda trade fell through.

But he is expected to want more cash than the Tigers could consider given their tight cap with high-paid stars including Dustin Martin, Trent Cotchin, Rance, Dion Prestia, Tom Lynch and Jack Riewoldt.

St Kilda might need to hand over pick six to Fremantle for Brad Hill and use the second-round pick it secures from the Western Bulldogs for key forward Josh Bruce to secure Sydney midfielder Jones.

We're interested in suspended Pie Sam Murray apparently.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Multiple clubs are considering throwing suspended Magpie and ex-Swan Sam Murray an AFL lifeline.

Melbourne, Richmond, Greater Western Sydney and North Melbourne are among the teams to register their interest in Murray, with the Demons considered as keen as any of them.

It remains to be seen whether the opposition interest in the defender will result in Collingwood looking to broker a trade, or if Murray could find a third club as a delisted free agent.

The 22-year-old has sat out of AFL football since August 17 last season, after traces of cocaine were detected in his system in a game-day test shortly beforehand.

Murray faced a four-year ban but will instead be eligible to play again on February 17, and can train at an AFL club from December 17.

He played all 13 of his senior matches in 2018 after two previous seasons at Sydney, averaging 21 disposals, five marks and four rebound 50s while earning a NAB AFL Rising Star nomination.

Murray's speed and knack for taking the game on are the traits that most appeal to his suitors.

His teenage brother, Nick, a key backman, hopes to be drafted this year after splitting his time between Ovens and Murray league club Wangaratta Rovers and the Giants' NEAFL side this season. – Marc McGowan

Could you imagine Damian Barret if we got Fyfe, he'd need a straight jacket.

Drafted at pick 5 in 2017 so due to sign a bigger contract.
Played most games for Freo so he would be expecting a decent wage one would think.
Is a Victorian as is Brayshaw who was taken at pick 2 in 2017.

Tim Kelly. Seriously.

The rumour is that the Cats and Eagles are a fair way apart in their valuations of him, and it might be too hard to get a trade done. Also it is believed that Kelly’s reasons for seeking a trade are not as clear cut as being portrayed in the media.

A lot to play out here, but Tigers are said to be monitoring the situation closely.

How are we going to find another 2 first round picks to meet Chris Scott’s valuation of 4 first round picks + dusty  :rollin

No idea. More’s to the point, Chris Scott would have to have a meltdown if this happened wouldn’t he.

This is simply the rumour I have heard. No idea how it would get done, but reading between the lines, we do have a great mate of Kelly’s on our list.
