Dons desperately trying to spin this positively. Lucky for them their fans will lap this up.

brilliant watching the blues stuff this up
Players heavily linked to Carlton in the last three trade periods:

Martin, Papley, Coniglio, Shiel, D.Smith, Rockliff

Players actually traded in:

Betts, Pittonet, McGovern, Setterfield, Mullett, Fasolo, Lang, Kennedy, Lobbe and Newman.

Cutler gets you one vote? :lol

I assume holding onto a player who wants to leave was the other reason he gave them a vote... :shh
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Essendon, what a draft period. Fantasia tries to get out, can't, and Essendon are stuck with a forward pocket that can't get a kick. Their FF who hasn't played in 2 years and is on $900k wants out and they stuff that up too.
It could get ugly. If I was Worsfold I would stick him in the ruck, seeing as though there isn't much point in preserving him, and even though it would probably backfire when he likely gets a mystery injury that requires him to sit out the season.
But really, did they think Sydney of all clubs are going to overrate their list and spend 2 first rounders like they did?  :lol

How's Jon Ralph.  He said with a straight face that Tom Papley was the difference between Carlton making the 8 and winning a final.

So glad trade period is over.  Some of the things that are said is mind boggling and downright stupid

Sydney also confirmed pick 5 was never offered to Essendon for Daniher
Essendon opened negotiations stating that pick 5 and another first rounder wasn't enough - so they never had the chance to offer it as I understand.

Media all had us as flag favourites for next year especially with Rance coming back , then WC get Kelly and they're suddenly now favourites...despite the fact everyone already knew they would be getting him a year ago... :shh

Perfect. The more we get written off, the more likely we are/sweet it will be.

I couldn't a flag being more delicious than 2017.

Then 2019 came along....

Can't understand all the love for the cats trades. They lost a 24 year old gun midfielder one of the best in the competition and there midfield is already slugggish, media not even mentioned it huge loss. They got pick 14 and 24 and a first round next year which could be in the twentys eagles improvement and academy's.That aren't great reading in a even draft not even a top 10 pick.

People keep saying Jack Martin can just walk into the PSD but wasn't the PSD scrapped last year?  :huh

Didn’t we draft aarts last year in the PSD?

Pretty sure it’s still going.
