RCD  great tackle. Causes the turnover in the centre. Inside 50. Bolton off the pack goes to Silvestro but it's a stoppage. RCD first hands but Casey clear.

We get it back. Turner to HF but Casey mark and clear.

Getting very dark but still no lights.

Ballard good defensive mark with the flight. Finds Chol a kick and half out. Ends up a throw-in. Bolton to Ballard into traffic. Ball-up 60 out. Ballard tackled without the ball but no free. Casey clear.

Beasley to English but he turns it over. Scramble in defence. Menadue to Morris settles it down. English in the backline gets 50. Plays on and drives it to the goalsquare. CCJ can't mark. Ball-up 15 out. Free to Casey.

Bolton with the clearance towards Chol who can;t mark. Butler gets it forward for a throw-in. Soldo punches it forward to RCD who finds Chol in the pocket 30 out. Misses.

Morris marks in defence to Harris to Ballard in the middle of the ground. Up and under kick to HF. Bolton inside 50 and it's a throw-in. Bolton slaps it to Townsend to Ballard towards Naish but it's slapped out of bounds. Soldo rainmaker but it's marked by Casey.

Menadue marks on the wing. High to HF. Casey clear.

Good tackle by Naish. Wins the free. To Bolton who drops it then kicks it into the man on the mark.

Harris to FF. Big men fly but can't mark. Stoppage. Casey clear.

Menadue cuts it off again. To Chol who marks it just inside 50. To the line as it's held up in the breeze. Bolton flies but it's a throw-in. Siren.

Dominated that quarter and kept Casey goal-less who had the breeze. Much better. Townsend, Bolton, Naish and Menadue were very good.


Weller has a back problem and didn't play after half-time. So we're two men down.

Beasley takes the one-hander to stop the attack. Over Silvestro's head. Turnover.

Scramble in Casey's forward line. Chol a great chase tackle earns the free but Aarts taking the advantage gives it away. Poor defence leads to a Casey goal.

Townsend centre clearance out wide. Turner can't mark stretching and it's a throw-in then ball-up. Casey go forward and Eggy is pinged.

Townsend gets the free deep in defence. Out wide but it's a free to Casey.

Ballard hacks it out of defence to the wing. Chol off the ground and it's paid deliberate.

We're struggling to get it out of our defensive half.

Soldo defensive mark. Eggy down the line over Ballard's head. Butler then Bolton who gets the free. Goes long but Chol is outmarked by the Casey ruckman.

Soldo (12 disposals, 38 hitouts) brings it down. Bolton hands to Butler towards Chol who overruns it. Ballard to Turner on the run towards Aarts who juggles the mark 30 out. Goal! 

Understatement to say we needed that one.

Naish short towards Butler (10 disposals, 3 tackles) who marks. To the pocket and Chol almost drags it down. Moore's handpass misses. Eggy gathers out to Harris and nice pass to Turner in the pocket. Hits the post.
