Rainesy the find of 2006
« on: April 08, 2006, 02:25:06 AM »
Two very good games from Moi's boy so far. Contained Murphy last week under a barrage and last night gave Milne an absolute bath  :yep. His attack on the footy, composure and disposal was just like his old man  :thumbsup.

Nearly gave him votes for last night's game.  Good to see a player come on in such leaps and bounds.

Every time he gets near the ball, you just want to see the effort he puts in to either gain or maintain possession.  When he wins the footy and runs out of defence, it's real team lifting stuff. :thumbsup

Really happy he is doing so well - looks like he's done a lot of work over summer and it's paying dividends now.
Is early days, and he's not going to have a blinder every week and we have to be patient with his progress, but Rainsey and Pat are two kids we never thought would be putting their hand up.  I suppose, we were expecting good things to come from others.  So, their form is a real bonus.

Very happy with Pat - dont' think we gave up much to get him and he's filling in that huge gap we have between our ageing seniors and the youth.  So, i would say, for that reason, he is the find of 2006, but Rainsey's progress -  :thumbsup

Gee Moi, he's certainly kicked on since you took him under your wing.

He'd be in the top 5 in the B & F at this stage I would think.

That little twirp lol got a few against the Lions so Rainesy job of shutting him out last week looks even better. The same goes for Will on Riewoldt given Riewoldt got 5 last night.
