Do people even pay attention to the 2's?
Yes. I know RCD has been poor but was better yesterday. Just saying he’d be no worse than Butler and give us another rotating mid forward for flexibility. Also will stretch their defence.... :shh

spot on TM

I have watched many VFL games this year and I don't believe RCD has been as poor as some think. He is a genuine inside player who is building a tank throughout the year. He cracks in extremely hard but doesn't yet have the aerobic conditioning to constantly spread on the outside. Alot to like me thinks :shh

Ross still under done, only played half a game. Marlion could be a smokey though.

Ellis and Broad were really poor against the Demons and should be dropped. Butler at risk. Think Nank needs to come in.

Broad for me is one of the first picked, poor game here and there notwithstanding. He's tough, and a legit competitor. I didn't even think his Melb game was THAT terrible. Astbury is slow and Grimes can't do all the quick stuff himself.

In the Mix - Round 21

RICHMOND

Get them in: Ruckman Toby Nankervis has done everything possible to get an AFL call-up after two halves and now a full game in the VFL. Usual winger Kamdyn McIntosh continues to play in defence in the seconds, recording 16 disposals and seven marks. Youngster Patrick Naish (26 disposals, nine marks) has continued his strong VFL season, while mid-season recruit Marlion Pickett (20 and a goal) found plenty of the ball in his first match.

Under the pump: Unfortunately it's rinse and repeat for Ivan Soldo, whose stunning soccer goal from a throw-in won't save him if Nankervis returns. Small forward Dan Butler (eight disposals) didn't have a big impact on his return to AFL.

Medical room: Dynamic utility Sydney Stack (calf soreness) is likely to be a test after missing last round, while skipper Trent Cotchin is still a week or two away.

Verdict: Another week in the twos building match fitness for Pickett, while Nankervis should come back at the expense of Soldo. Stack for Butler if fit.
