The Tigers expect to have skipper Trent Cotchin (hamstring) back to face the Lions at the MCG.

Ruckman Toby Nankervis is continuing to battle groin soreness and appears less likely to return before the finals.

With the way Soldo is tearing it up would you even bother bringing him back in finals?  :shh

Mark Stevens on Ch 7 news just now said Cotch is expected to be a certain starter but there's still doubts on Grimes.

In: Cotchin

Out: Ross (managed)

Would like KMac in as well. Maybe he is an in if Grimes doesn’t get up. Playing down back in the twos.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

whatever happens Ross is done for the year IMO, barring injury

In the big pressure games coming up i think its too much to ask i think. Made a few costly errors Sunday.

Out: Ross, Rioli

In: Cotchin, Towner (last chance)
Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

RICHMOND

Get them in: Skipper Trent Cotchin (hamstring) should be right to go, with coach Damien Hardwick saying he could have played last week if required. Versatile big man Noah Balta (21 hitouts, 18 disposals, two goals) was best in the VFL, while Jacob Townsend was also strong.

Under the pump:
It was a very well-rounded performance from the Tigers, with young Tigers Jack Ross (11 disposals) and Mabior Chol (four and 10 hitouts) the ones who could come out of the side.

Medical room: Integral defender Dylan Grimes sent an almighty scare through the Tiger camp when he went down with an ankle injury, but he later returned. At this stage, he's hopeful to play against Brisbane. Sydney Stack had surgery on Monday for an ankle syndesmosis injury suffered in the VFL. Toby Nankervis is battling groin soreness.

Verdict: Ross for Cotchin, with Ryan Garthwaite waiting in the wings for Grimes if required. Given Ivan Soldo's strong form, Nankervis is a chance to be given another week's break. Chol holds on for now, but Balta's building strong form.

Surely we'll rest Grimes if the Bumblers get up... :shh

So Grimes is playing?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Ch 7 arvo news interviewed Cotch outside Punt Rd and he said he'll be playing this week. If he wasn't confident [in his hammy holding up] he wouldn't be putting his hand up. Whenever you've done an injury a couple of times there's some mental demons but that's where your mental training comes in.
