I am a member of the THC Ramps.

Work comittments meant I couldn't get to yesterday's function  :'(

I've always enjoyed them. It's a great way to celebrate our great history but at the same time not get consumed by it (if that makes sense - we cannot live in the past but we should still enjoy is what I am trying to say).

It's always great to catch up former great players and they are always avaialbel for a chat afterwards. Kudos must also go to Tezza because he had made sure that there are always current day players there as well and that gives them a greater understanding of the Club's hostiry IMO. Well worth joining if you've got the time - they only have 3 luncheons a year and a memebers only function at the end of the year

 :thumbsup

3 functions a year sounds good...sort of like you can increase level of support by a little...thats good. How much does it cost to join and how much are the functions in terms of cost?

I think membership in the first year is about $120-$150 and then ever year after it's about $80. When you first join up you get a tie (for the fellas) or a scarf (for the ladies) and couple of other things

Functions are usually $80 for members and $90 for non-members. This includes 2 course meal and beer, wine, soft drinks & coffee. They are usually held at the Hyatt

You may want to go to the next function Ramps and then decide whether you want to join up.
