I think hes a chance because hes been to the big dance before, hes an experienced player now and he is a big runner who has often gotten forward and kicked a goal or two. He can also play a run with role if needed.

me too ramps. I love ross but the last game he played seemed to be way out of his depth for the minute.

Happy to be proven wrong.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

I think there are 2 main questions:
1) Are we going to struggle without him as we have no other options?
2) Does he have value?

I think 1) is pretty obvious but 2) is dependant on what other teams are willing to pay. No harm in floating his name

Kamdyn McIntosh (Richmond)

Signed a new deal but will likely miss out on the AFL Grand Final as well as the VFL premiership after being held over. Would a club like Fremantle, which is set to lose Brad Hill and Ed Langdon as running power, consider dragging him home?

Cerra thanks

I could live with that trade. Fremantle might want "steak knives"

Moore
Miller
Aarts
Butler
Garthwaite
Markov
Menadue

Contracted Tiger “looking at his options” for 2020: Cleary

By SEN
1 Oct 2019

Richmond wingman Kamdyn McIntosh could be on the move this trade period.

According to AFL.com.au’s Mitch Cleary, McIntosh is “looking at his options” despite signing a two-year contract extension in July.

The 25-year-old fell out of favour in the second half of the year and was overlooked for Richmond’s 89-point Grand Final win over GWS.

“Kamdyn McIntosh is an interesting one,” Cleary told Telstra AFL Trade Radio.

“He’s re-signed; he is contracted for the Tigers for next year at least – he is definitely looking at his options.

“I’m not sure of any concrete suitors for Kamdyn McIntosh, but it’s a watch this space on him."

McIntosh was part of Richmond’s 2017 premiership and has played 90 games since debuting in 2015.

Hmmm 90 games. Might need to hold on to him and get him to 100

I reckon Cleary is just stating the absolute flipping obvious and trying to link it to Kamdyn’s obvious disappointment at missing the GF.

Of course he will be looking at his options. He will want feedback about his place in the team going forward given he got dropped and couldn’t force his way back in. But to insinuate he might leave because he wasn’t selected for the grand final is an abolute sleight on a bloke who is a fine clubman at a club that prides itself on selflessness.

Amateurish stuff Cleary you stuffing sad jerk off.

Want to keep him, but would let go for their pick 26 or trade for Cerra.

Kamdyn McIntosh is open to leaving Richmond (Herald-Sun)

Another fringe Tiger could be on way out

Kamdyn McIntosh is open to leaving Richmond if a rival club presents the right deal.

McIntosh signed a new two-year deal with the Tigers in July, but was dropped only a week after putting pen to paper and couldn’t get back into the senior side.

The wingman’s increasing frustration was compounded by the Tigers’ decision to withdraw him from the VFL Grand Final as insurance for an AFL Grand Final he wasn’t selected for.

McIntosh, 25, was running second in Richmond’s best-and-fairest count after Round 8 and was hurt by missing out on a premiership of either kind.

He leaves for an overseas holiday on Sunday also open to the idea of leaving Punt Road in search of regular senior football.

McIntosh looms as the perfect target for Fremantle and new coach Justin Longmuir, hailing from Perth and coming through Peel Thunder.

The looming departure of wingers Ed Langdon and Brad Hill has created a need for speed at the Dockers, who are also interested in McIntosh’s Victoria-born Richmond teammate Connor Menadue.

McIntosh has played 90 games for the Tigers and was a member of their 2017 premiership side.

But the emergence of Marlion Pickett and Sydney Stack has seemingly limited his opportunities under coach Damien Hardwick, while Josh Caddy and Shane Edwards are playing on a wing.

Highly rated father-son Patrick Naish will also push for selection next year.

Hawthorn great Dermott Brereton said McIntosh could not be blamed if he left the Tigers.

“Kamdyn McIntosh, if one of possibly 17 clubs turn around and say, ‘Would you like to come to us? Here’s $100,000 more or $200,000 more’ he will have to question it because he’ll think that loyalty can only carry you so far,” Brereton told Fox Footy.

“And if he still wants to stay a Tiger, put up a statue of him.

“He’s the best clubman in the AFL.”

'It’d be pretty unlikely for Kamdyn McIntosh to go': Balme (3aw)
« Reply #59 on: October 04, 2019, 08:32:19 PM »
Kamdyn McIntosh is another who missed out on September glory, however Balme said the club was keen to keep him.

“He’s contracted and we’re keen for him to stay and we think that’s what he should do,” Balme said.

“But if somebody came at him with a really significant offer that he wanted to think about, we certainly wouldn’t dismiss is straight away.

“But I think it’d be pretty unlikely for him to go.”
