That was a great match to watch. I fell asleep around 0100 and kept dozing in and out checking on the scores.

Head was pivotal with those two wickets.

Hazelwood and starc early too.

Head also pivotal with the bat

People have had a lot to say about this Aussie team when sitting 0-2
Now in the final after 8 straight

And imagine winning the final in front of a stadium full of disappointed fans.

Cummins won the toss and put India in. Seems to be backing in our bowlers and hoping the dew later on will make batting easier in the 2nd innings on that pitch. We shall see.

Amazing catch by Travis Head. Understatement to say we needed it. India off to a flyer runs wise  :-\.

I don’t think there is a more harshly judged team in the world than the Aussie cricket team (English football team aside possibly)

Regardless

Win lose or draw

Tonight is the greatest stuff you ever

I wish the 1st quarter for cotch went as good as that first innings for Cummins.

Absolutely backed up his decision both as a baller and as a captain with his changes and field placements.

Upto the batsman now…..

India 240 all out.

Starc 3/55, Cummins 2/34, Hazlewood 2/60, Zampa 1/44, Maxwell 1/35 (6), Head 0/4 (2), Marsh 0/5 (2).

The bowlers did their job, especially after the start Rohit Sharma gave India, and we fielded very well.

Now it's whether the dew arrives. It won't be an easy chase on that slow pitch especially if there's no dew.

Just 4 runs to go. Get ready to celebrate  :thumbsup.

Travis Head's been a star of our World Cup campaign. He's got us home in both the semi and now the final.

Just a brilliant team win all up. An amazing turnaround from the first two games when it looked like turning into our worst World Cup. Just shows you need to time your run to peak at the right time. Same as the Tiges in our dynasty flags.

As you said TK, Cummins' captaincy calls were spot on.

And imagine winning the final in front of a stadium full of disappointed fans.
Prophetic post  ;D :thumbsup
