Burns & Harris both failed again as openers against India A. So back to square one for the Aussie selectors  :-\

Talk of Labuschagne opening with Harris and Wade moving up to 3. Wouldn't think Wade is a No.3 ???.

Burns chosen ahead of Harris to open. Apparently Wade will partner him but that will be announced the morning of the test. Green to debut if he passes his concussion test.

Burns & Wade will open when we bat. Green comes in to debut.

India won the toss so we're bowling first.

India 2/41 at lunch (25 overs).

Aussie bowlers keeping things tight. Starc and Cummings knocked over the Indian openers. A couple of edges fell short of the slips too while Head missed a sharp chance at short leg.

Kohli was out caught down leg side but Paine didn't ask for review :-P.

Thank you Rahane for burning Kohli. A gift!

Rahane now gone too. Two new bats against the new ball at night.

Aussie bowlers have knocked over the Indian tail quickly :thumbsup.

India 244 all out.

Starc 4 wickets and Cummins 3.

Now can Burns & Wade get us off to a good start?

Answer: NO! :-P

Middle order has failed too. Only Labuschagne is standing up so far. AUS 5/83 :help.

Aussies 191 all out. 53 runs behind.

Can thank Paine 73 not out & the tail for even getting that much. Upper and middle order too defensive and so they got out cheaply anyway.
