Don't see a spot opening for Khawaja. Nor Lyon. Don't think we need a dedicated spinner atm and all of Head, Marnus and Smith can spin part time anyway.

Am not sold on either Doggett or Inglis either yet.

1 Head
2 Weatherald
3 Labuschagne
4 Smith

5 Green
6 Webster
7 Carey

8 Starc
9 Cummins
10 Neser
11 Boland

Lyon straight back in
We need a spinner and it isn’t a day night pink ball test coming up ..
Lyon has the most wickets ever in Adelaide

As for Doggett .. I don’t see it either

Good point about the day game vs day/night tbh.

If we can carry a bloke or two like dog or inglis we may as well make it Lyon

560 test wickets at 30 a test

Don’t think he needs carrying .. most successful off spinner we’ve ever produced for goodness sakes

Reigning World Test Champions South Africa are unlikely to play another Test in Australia soil until late 2030, and even then any Test series Down Under will probably not include visits to Melbourne or Sydney.

Lyon comes in as you need a spinner in Adelaide especially if your bowling last. He comes in for Nesser

Cummins comes in obviously for Doggett

I'd keep Inglis in

And TBBH Khawaja should just retire
