Unless there's a force majeure clause on memberships then they probably will have to offer refunds. Legally you can't keep a payment and not provide the goods/service it was meant for.

I'm guessing we'd be hoping that a significant number of members will be happy for the Club to keep the money as a donation or in lieu of some extra recognition reward in the future when this is all over.
