Know little about him but what you do see seems to be pretty decent.

Brisbane i dont think had the capacity to match bids. We had room for mids and we took one here. How good he ends up only time will tell.

And the fat bloke crossing High Street in kew just 5 minutes ago was leaving no stone unturned in his pursuit of getting into Maccas and scoffing down half a dozen McFeasts and 2 litres of Coke.

Think he will go well OE. Played well last week beating opponents one on one. I suspect he will be given a specific defensive match up.

ANOTHER northern Academy product will make his AFL debut on Friday night.

But unlike Sydney's Isaac Heeney, Greater Western Sydney's Jacob Hopper or Gold Coast's Jack Bowes, Brisbane Academy graduate Will Martyn will do so for another club.

Captain of the Lions' program in 2019, the Aspley product was also named the team's most valuable player before being overlooked at the 2019 NAB AFL Draft.

Martyn, 20, has since won plaudits at the Tigers with his aggressive approach, even flattening captain Trent Cotchin in a notable pre-season session this summer.

And now the hard-nosed midfielder will run out alongside Cotchin in the Tigers' blockbuster with Port Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval.

Watching him get caught dead was cringe worthy but he wasn't alone.

Aarts, Cotchin too.

Not overly impressed. Would rather try someone else.

Disappointing night for the kid.

Off the pace meant he was too slow in his decision making

Will be interesting to see if he holds his spot
