Maurice Rioli junior [merged]
« on: December 06, 2015, 06:25:52 PM »
I am guessing the fact that we have given no. 17 to young Rioli means that our football dept. doesn't believe that Maurices son will be good enough to make AFL in 3 years time.

Daniel Rioli’s bringing it – in so many ways

AFL Insider
Published on Apr. 15, 2017

Any Richmond supporters who are getting excited about Daniel Rioli’s progress at the club should sit down right now.

Daniel brought some special Rioli magic to the MCG last week to the delight of the yellow and black hordes, but he’s working on bringing a damn site more magic to Tigerland in the not too distant future if his Instagram account is anything to go by.

Maurice Rioli junior is the image of his old man and from all reports has the innate family football ability, and Daniel is making sure Richmond is his home away from home.

Okay Tiger fans, go have a cigarette and a lie down – you’ve earned it.

But Maurice Jnr, is Maurice's grandson not son, so father / son doesn't apply

No he is actually his son.

Really?

Now I am really confused

The interview with young Daniel the other week in HUN said Maurice junior was Maurice Rioli's grandson, not son even though he is referred to as junior
