Looks fit. Go son.

He looks sensational the leanest he's ever looked so far.

Really hope he's a late bloomer like his dad.

Oh ok, I thought he was a late bloomer. Maybe just because we grabbed him older.

Clubs tried to entice him over for a long time before he made the move

Rioli's leadership initiative revealed

Maurice Rioli has put in the hard yards this off-season, as he looks to elevate his game in 2026.

Maurice Rioli has declared the motivation at the Swinburne Centre is high, as he looks to further his leadership this season.

With game 50 looming for the start of the 2026 season, Rioli believes it's now his time to step up and continue to build on the Club's budding culture.

"Most boys that have come to the Club say that Richmond's culture is pretty different to most clubs," Rioli told Channel Nine.

"We're in a good place right now and I can hopefully be one of those leaders to keep that going."

That initiative has been on display both on and off field for the 23-year-old, who worked extra hard in the off-season to come back in the best shape he could.

"I've done a lot of work in the off-season, running with a few of my mates, doing a bit of extra work," Rioli said.

"I'm happy with the way I've come back."

How that will translate when the season begins is up to Rioli, but rest assured he will be prepared.

"When the time comes for me to get some midfield time, I'm ready to go," he said.
