That's really a Mickey mouse competition if it wasn't already laughable.

Richmond ... is also navigating its way through a last-minute fixture change.

A phone call early on Monday morning rapidly shifted the entire week for the club, with the game against West Coast on Thursday evening postponed and a clash with Melbourne at the MCG shoehorned into the R5 fixture on Sunday.

"Our club got in contact with us as early as 6am yesterday morning, which is effectively when they found out," he said.

Playing on Thursday night would have been the ideal way to shrug off their form woes, but now the Tigers will have another main training session to work out any faults that have stopped them from firing since the season re-start.

I was thinking about how good stack was in the Melbourne game last year and coincidentally I’m listening to the sacked podcast with Leppa and he mentioned how Stack turned his playing prospects around in a really short time. Went from not being able to run for >15mins to AFL standard in 4 months.

I really hope stack can fire a shot against Melbourne because he’s probably one of the players who could reignite our season

Peter Burge on re-adjusting to the fixture change:

"We’re (now) going into a Sunday game this week and our following two games are Sunday games, so our schedule will reflect the same week for the next three weeks, so it was fairly easy to adjust. We gave the players an extra day off on Monday and started our weekly program again today. Our week progresses as normal into Sunday’s game."

Prediction: The Tigers have been struggling since the competition restart. Damien Hardwick's side has lost twice and had a draw in their three games and enter the round in 14th position. A bit like West Coast on Saturday, there's too much talent for the Tigers to lose another game, especially against an opponent in Melbourne who is unlikely to play finals football. Tigers by four goals.

Q. If the Tigers lose to the Dees this weekend they will not be contending for back to back flags?

Richo: Yes

Just checked the AFL broadcast guide and it doesn't have us as a channel 7 game. Anybody know any different?

That's where I was referring too. To me it was showing not free to air. Somehow my location had been changed to Canberra :P

What I want to see today is a good first quarter, tackling pressure, winning contested footy and clearances, clean possession and taking our chances in front of the sticks.

Forced the forward-half turnover. Cotch to Aarts who chips inside 50 to Lynch. Goal!  :gotigers
