Lynch & Jack just as out of form as Ben Brown: Lloyd
« on: July 26, 2020, 12:32:22 PM »
'If Lynch and Riewoldt played at North they would be spoken in the way as Ben Brown is being criticised. Both are struggling. Richmond are getting lots of inside 50s but they both can't get separation from their direct opponent.' - Matthew Lloyd.

“Captain Obvious”
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Lynch avg goals down from 2.5 in 2019 to 1.4 this year. Mind you most key forwards are down significantly this year.

We need to drop Jack and play our forwards further up the ground.  If I can see why can’t Hardwick

You've got to wonder how much that finger injury is affecting Lynch. I can't recall him taking a contested mark since he broke it.

Jack admitted both he & Lynch aren't in form. Oppositions are playing an extra tall which is making it more difficult. We just need to work hard to bring the ball down.

Be nice if one of them could take an outlet mark down the line once in a while....

Get lynch to run up the ground making space for jack to lead back into the goal square. Also makes lynches man have to leave the square too
He is way too stationary ATM. He is also a good runner so use it.A few marks around the ground and the opposition have to rethink.

I would give Jack one more game to get some form. Then it’s time to give CCJ a go or trial a smaller forward line.

I’m sick of watching our inept forward line.

CCJ's not going to mark a bunch of aimless bombs & hack kicks from the midfield either.... :shh

Cmon mate. Quit with the excuses. Not every kick to them is poor.

I was watching Taylor Walker take contested marks on the weekend.

Do you reckon he’s getting silver service from Adelaide’s midfield?

Not every kick - what so one in ten? No delying Lynch has been below average  & Riewoldt's been poor but the delivery's been abysmal and you can't just discount it, also I wouldn't be using outliers like the one good game Adelaide's played all year  & best game Walker's played since 2017 as a counterpoint.....plus the main issue with Lynch is his set shot kicking - he's missed at least half a dozen from right in front that if he'd nailed he'd be third in the Coleman behind Papley & Kennedy and ahead of Dixon who the media's been raving about all year... :shh :shh
