Kane is already comfortable saying Richmond won't play finals next year!

And he's put a pair of Archies flip flops on the line! 😆

Kane Cornes’ BIGGEST 2017 AFL predictions
By Tim Ashdown  21 December 2016

https://www.fiveaa.com.au/sport/kane-cornes-biggest-2017-afl-predictions/

Richmond

“The most scrutinised team in the competition was again disappointing in 2016, winning only eight games. Under-fire coach Damien Hardwick needs a finals berth to save his job at the Tigers…

“Richmond will find it difficult to find multiple avenues towards goal next year and the lack of stars coming through is a concern.”

Didn't even have Adelaide in the hot teams.  Bulldogs have the most depth in the comp despite finishing 10th (on the back of a few injuries lol). GWS best team in the comp and Deledio finshes them off.

You couldn't get so much wrong if you tried.  How is this guy still relevant.  Absolutely no credibility and clearly knows nothing about the game.

Just a parody but you could imagine the real Cornes saying this after his continual digs at the RFC and our 100k members.

He'll just spin it as "Richmond needed to go backwards to take advantage of the best draft hand they've had in years but over achieved and will once again miss out on top end picks they desperately need..." :shh

He’s a paid troll.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Ignore him. It’s fuel for his narrative.
I don’t understand why people don’t understand that this response is exactly why he does what he does.

No credit at all - Cornes just doubled down on the reliability of Prestia , Lynch , Nankervis Dusty and Grimes .

Apparently soft tissue injuries are a concern.

London to a brick Prestia will go down again at some point, but we appear to have more midfield depth with Dow & Sonsie looking like they've stepped up and at least an upgrade on 2023 Cotch & if McAuliffe lives up to the hype...   Grimes going down would frankly  be a blessing in disguise at this point - likewise Nank now we have Naismith....Lynch obviously important but at least it won't just be left to a cooked Riewoldt this year if he doesn't come up.....and Bolton can probably cover current day Dusty... :shh

Spot on. Hoping Meatie proves you wrong but honestly just have him play 60-70 minutes and sub him regularly for some of theses depth mids like  McAuliffe and try something different
