We were our own worst enemy today as far as ball-use, but the umps sure switched to wearing blue and white stripes after HT when it came to free kicks ::).

First half:      7 - 4

Second half:  4 - 13

You say like it’s a negative
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

The McIntosh non-free was a work of art...almost matched by the non-htb call down the other end and the exaggerated Wayne Harmes impression on the wing that ended up in a Norf goal...... :shh

9 frees in a game itself is bewildering pathetic.

At the other end, it is Richmond on a massive -85. The Tigers have received the fewest free kicks in 2024 while giving away the equal third most.

I'm sure the Dawks having a 50 point insurance at quarter time had absolutely nothing to do with it...either that or they've suddenly realised we're going to get pick one..... :shh

The Free Kick ladder for 2024

Down the other end and it was Richmond who made it a pair of wooden spoons for 2024.

The poor old Tigers received the least frees for (343) and gave way the sixth most (427) to finish with a -85 differential.
