Liam Ryan went off with what looked like a hammy at the time but he said he was okay. Seems to be managing his hammies as he said post-game he had to watch himself late in quarters.

As for Carlton, geez they are still crap! Up against a West Coast B side on a ground the Eagles hadn't won at in 22 years and still lost .

Good result for us. Now up to us to make the most of it. We can potentially jump up to sixth if we win on Sunday night.

The bonus was the Swans percentage took a hit on top of their loss. We're now a game and only 2% behind. A win on Sunday night  should see us leapfrog above them on the ladder.

I tell ya. It’s much better when you stop giving a s***. I have and honestly, I seriously don’t care if they lose. In fact in the last qtr I was willing Adelaide to win.
Simply because I don’t want any more half arsed, lame,,pee poor wins that cover up just what a farkin shambles of a club we are.
Root and branch changes required. Until then they can f*** off.

Maybe we'll get another 'keep up the good work fellas' message from the President, the CEO will clap on about some theme round, Roughhead will continue his 'yeh-nahs' and the 'Sounds of the Saints' podcast will spin out more of the same.

I don't think the club gets it. We have become a laughing stock.

A total and utter laughing stock. The competition is genuinely mocking us and they've got every right to. Our footy club has become focused on everything except winning. This is the sum total of all those things coming home to roost.

For once, I'm not shocked. I'm not surprised. This was absolutely in line with what I expect and have been warning about for a long time. This mentality, culture, attitude and approach is what we are. We've embraced the soft option; the cuddle culture and the weakest link approach.

Right now, under this leadership, this is what St Kilda stands for now.

Dont blame umpires our players are so overrated its not funny.
Butlers gone backwards alongwith Battle Billings Lonie etc. Hunter is not AFL standard.
We just believe our bull s*** at St.kilda something we have done forxm a long time. We need a massive clean out .
As a long tine supporter/member i am totally fed up with this s*** club and they can stick their membership where the sun dont shine.
Get St.Kilda people running our club and not zig and zag afl rejects along with the circus clowns we have now.
I think it it obvious there is internal issues that i am sure will come out soon.

At least we don't have to watch the rabble that is the St Kilda football club next week with the bye.

7 & 5. Went to bed at half time and will be totally gutted in the morning.
Really feel like telling them to support another team.
Supporting this club is just a lifetime of pain.

Brisbane (with Fitzroy players) win three premierships.

We were much less deserving than Fitzroy and South. Get rid of Us - we don't deserve to exist.

Over 10 Million in debt, can't develop players, can't pick the right players, can't keep players healthy and fit.

Not hoping something better for one, two, five, 10, or 100 years.

1966 was a fluke. If we were a good club, we should have won by 10 goals, not 1 fricking point.

Scott and Geelong celebrating like they won the flag .

Winning the close ones makes a big difference. Cats have now won 3 out of 4 games decided by less than a goal. We've only won 1 out of 3. There's your two game difference.

Dogs will want back that last minute or so. Dumb by Libba to keep the ball alive and work it back into the corridor rather than trying to get a ball-up or letting the ball wander towards the boundary line for a forward stoppage.

Not sure what the end result does for us. One positive is the top 3 are all Victorian if we need to win it from outside the top 4. So we could avoid an interstate final if we finish 5th/6th.
