It’s their next contracts that the players will put the hand out if they win a premiership

Brayden Sier wants out of Collingwood.

Phil out: Clubs set to circle Pies midfielder

The Collingwood midfielder who starred in the 2018 Grand Final is on the hunt for a new home.

Yes. I’d take him.
Did an excellent job vs us in the preliminary final debarcle. Big bodied kid got 6 clearances that night and 4 inside 50’s, 20 Disp 10 contested 80%efficiency.

In fact did very very well the whole ‘18 finials series. Like the contest and knows how to win contested possession. Exactly the type we need im the guts.

And yet since season 2018, has played progressively less games, less possessions and generally looks like he’s gone backwards. A handful of senior games in a team that finished bottom 3, if he played for Richmond with those numbers you’d probably want him delisted (and you’d be spot on).
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Had some hip, quad calf injuries because of playing basketball.  :rollin
Let’s face it the pies don’t have the greatest track record of injury management in the last 4 years.

I’d get the medical team to look at him and take the punt.
Cheap big bodied mids don’t grow on trees.

Good re: Narkle

As for Sier, at least 1 Pie on BF reckons the Beams return impacted his spot, then he probably just lost form/consistency/fitness.

Carved it up in the VFL going at about 25-30/week.

I'd be interested for a low pick. Maybe the Chol compo around 50.

Given we came last in the comp for clearances and 16th for Contested Possession Differential we should be picking up a midfielder who can win a clearance and/or a contested possession occasionally. If that is Sier great, if not maybe Dunstan from the Saints? What are some other options?

Dunstan's a clearance beast but his foot skills are as deplorable as they come and he's even slower than Graham.....:shh

You do realise Graham is the opposite of slow? For someone who runs all day he does have some good wheels on him :shh

I acknowledge he is not super fast but he holds his own. Watch his game a little closer in 2022 :whistle

Graham has cement wheels.  One of the slowest going around.
