Q: Why are Richmond so inactive? Feel like they’re the only club not doing anything..
Ben Waterworth: Might move a bit more post-trade period to get into the draft
Q: What is going on with a Richmond? They have all these picks but aren’t making any moves.
Ben Waterworth: Hi Justin, they have ample time between now and the draft to move up the order if they want.
Q: Which clubs are looking to move up or move down in the first round of the draft?
David Zita: Not many would be looking to move down! Hawks are open to trading pick 5 if it means getting up the order even further. Richmond are almost certain to get themselves up the order too. But overall plenty of big movers who want to get up the order
Q: Hi Ben, do you see the tigers going after any players this year or more focused on draft picks? Tom Mitchell was floated earlier in the year, is this still a chance and if so what do you think he is worth pick wise?
Ben Waterworth: Focus on draft picks Tigers man.
Q: Are Richmond actually trying to trade up the order and be proactive or are they just sitting round twiddling their thumbs?
Ben Waterworth: They're focusing on the draft - and have until draft night to shuffle picks.
Q: What will Richmond do with all its 3rd round picks? Will there be any suitors left to trade up?
Ben Waterworth: yeah there might be, Pies and Dogs might want more later picks, so too Saints
Q: Why doesn’t Richmond trade picks 38, 42 and 47 for WB pick 23. Will give the bulldogs an extra 360 points to match for a bid. Seems like a no brainer to me?
Ben Waterworth: Don't mind it!
Q: Tigers get Mitchell & Pick 5, Hawks get Pick 7, 15, 38. Fair for both??
