Really should have gotten involved with Pies or Dogs IMO.

Not sure which other teams need to bid.

Otherwise we need to de-list more blokes like Garthwaite, DES and Aarts, go deep in the draft.

Gold coast need picks. Nows the time to strike.
Quite the opposite Ramps. The Suns have little room on their list for more kids with so many contracted players. That's why they are offloading their picks this year in exchange for future picks in the 2022 draft.

We would have to give up pick 7 plus our future first to get their remaining pick 3 and that's on the proviso the Suns think they can still get the kid that want at pick 7.

Blair Hartley will be running money ball and along with Clarke and  Balmey I’m guessing they won’t be doing any deals that aren’t reasonably good. Very even draft this year to pick 30 so I wouldn’t trade unless it was worthwhile

Hawthorn ruckman Jonathon Ceglar is set to join a rival club, with Geelong one of the teams in contention for his services.

Collingwood's 200cm Max Lynch has reportedly gathered interest from Hawthorn.

Cat Darcy Fort, who has attracted interest from the Brisbane Lions.

Kangaroos ruckman Tristan Xerri has reportedly told the club he wants to join St Kilda.

Carlton has turned Sam Petrevski-Seton into Lewis Young, with the Blues, West Coast and the Western Bulldogs completing a three-way trade on Thursday.

The Eagles handed over pick No.52 for Petrevski-Seton, who requested a move back to Western Australia last month, which the Blues then on-traded to the Dogs for Young.

"There is a lot going on between the Fremantle footy club and the GWS footy club, over a player well known to both of those clubs, that player being Rory Lobb about a potential return to the Giants."

Q: Why are Richmond so inactive? Feel like they’re the only club not doing anything..

Ben Waterworth: Might move a bit more post-trade period to get into the draft

Q: What is going on with a Richmond? They have all these picks but aren’t making any moves.

Ben Waterworth: Hi Justin, they have ample time between now and the draft to move up the order if they want.

Q: Which clubs are looking to move up or move down in the first round of the draft?

David Zita: Not many would be looking to move down! Hawks are open to trading pick 5 if it means getting up the order even further. Richmond are almost certain to get themselves up the order too. But overall plenty of big movers who want to get up the order

Q: Hi Ben, do you see the tigers going after any players this year or more focused on draft picks? Tom Mitchell was floated earlier in the year, is this still a chance and if so what do you think he is worth pick wise?

Ben Waterworth: Focus on draft picks Tigers man.

Q: Are Richmond actually trying to trade up the order and be proactive or are they just sitting round twiddling their thumbs?

Ben Waterworth: They're focusing on the draft - and have until draft night to shuffle picks.

Q: What will Richmond do with all its 3rd round picks? Will there be any suitors left to trade up?

Ben Waterworth: yeah there might be, Pies and Dogs might want more later picks, so too Saints

Q: Why doesn’t Richmond trade picks 38, 42 and 47 for WB pick 23. Will give the bulldogs an extra 360 points to match for a bid. Seems like a no brainer to me?

Ben Waterworth: Don't mind it!

Q: Tigers get Mitchell & Pick 5, Hawks get Pick 7, 15, 38. Fair for both??

A: :lol

Jeff Kennett has emailed Hawks members.

Finishes with: "We may be surprised at some of the (trade/draft) decisions made but be assured they will be made after careful consideration of the club's future needs by those we charge to make such decisions."

Expect the Rory Lob trade to North Melbourne to go through tomorrow. Owed $1.4M by Peter Bell, but Roos keen to smooth that out by giving Lobb $100K per season over the next 14 years.

Well some in the media have got bored yapping about Tom Mitchell to Richmond because we have two first rounders.

Now they're saying Mitchell should go to Freo because they now have picks 6 & 8.

https://twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1ypJdERVAPdxW

Cooney adds Richmond should give up pick 15 for Freo's picks 19 & 22 so Freo can use 6, 8 & 15 to deal with Hawthorn for Mitchell.
