Rampe says he'll put his hand up to play on Dusty in our forward 50 but not in the midfield.

Swans are trying to copy us.

--------------------------------------

[Sydney] are ranked 16th for percentage of clearances won and have the AFL's worst differential in scores from stoppages.

What they lack there is more than made up for in punishing turnovers. It's a formula that has served Richmond so well over the past four years.

Despite being ranked 10th in generating forward half turnovers, they're ranked first in scores (51.5) from turnovers in that part of the ground scores from turnovers overall (81).

I’m always a bit worried about a longmuir team. Will back our boys in but a really danger game. Just like how the young guns in port almost got on top last year in the prelim I feel the injection of classy youth in the swans could be a curve ball for us. Either way I’m pumped and hope the tigers bring home the Easter chocolates!

Sloppy start when we have the ball. Ball bouncing between the arcs.

Some soft efforts in the contest and decision making has been lazy so far. Caddy just then had a free man back in the corridor and he kicks to a 50/50 on the wing and it sets up a shot for the Swans on the turnover.

Lucky they are missing. They should be 4 goals up.

Someone subbed off for Rioli. Is it Meaty?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Quarter time

Richmond    1.3-9
Sydney       2.5-17

Goal: Edwards.

Well that was the worst quarter we've played in a long time  :thumbsdown. They outworked and out-pressured us. Killing us in the clearances. Our skills and decision making was like U10s.

Hopefully Prestia's hammy isn't a bad one  :pray.
