Double checked, you correct they are both available for AFL selection this week

AFL Team Tips: Round 5

Matt Balmer and David Zita
Fox Sports
April 13th, 2021

TIGERS

B: D.Astbury, N.Balta, D.Grimes

HB: L.Baker, J.Short, B.Houli

C: S.Edwards, T.Cotchin, M.Pickett

HF: J.Caddy, J.Riewoldt, J.Castagna

F: D.Rioli, T.Lynch, K.Lambert

FOLL: T.Nankervis, D.Martin, J.Graham

I/C: S.Bolton, K.McIntosh, J.Ross, N.Broad

Team Tips:  If he’s right to go, expect Kamdyn McIntosh to come into the Richmond side after undergoing the 12-day concussion protocol, while Josh Caddy could return at the expense of Rhyan Mansell or Will Martyn. Damien Hardwick flagged a rotation on Richmond small forwards which could see Jake Aarts replaced by sub Daniel Rioli. Callum Coleman-Jones is another set to be considered by the Tigers.

In: Caddy, McIntosh, D.Rioli
Out: Aarts, Mansell, Martyn

Seems like Rioli only ever gets dropped for a week... needs a real kick up the arse for once and made to put in solid month in the VFL playing on ball....bring in MRJ and just sit him the fwd 50....  :shh

These seem about right but Nank needs a chop out although Saints not much in the ruck if Ryder is still unavailable and Marshall out.

from what i could gather we bought in two mids Ross and Martyn and barely played em in the middle. Fmd Martyn spent almost  half the game on the pine. Yep he had a few clangers and looked a little awed but lets give him a decent go at it.

Thought we were soundly beaten in the midfield

Not sure about suspensions etc but would like to see the following

FB/ Grimes - Astbury - Broad
HB/ Houli - Balta - Ralphsmith

C/ Short - Cotchin - McIntosh
R/ Nankervis - Martin - Lambert

HF/ Edwards - Lynch - Bolton
FF/ Castagna - Riewoldt - CC-J

Int/ Ross - Graham - Martyn - Baker
Sub/ Pickett.

Out -  Aarts - Mansell - Pickett - Caddy.
Ins - McIntosh - CC-J - Ralphsmith - Pickett sub.

In the Mix: Round 5

RICHMOND

The Tigers swung the changes after their round three loss to Sydney, so will they do the same after last week's defeat to Port Adelaide? Expect Kamdyn McIntosh to come back on the wing after recovering from his concussion, while Damien Hardwick also hinted on Tuesday that Daniel Rioli could return after a strong VFL performance. Josh Caddy will also be a chance after being the unused medical substitute last week. Pat Naish, Riley Collier-Dawkins and Mabior Chol will be others considered, as will Derek Eggmolesse-Smith, who was dropped last week, while first-gamers Rhyan Mansell and Will Martyn could fall out.

R4 medical sub: Josh Caddy (unused)

Verdict: McIntosh and Rioli in for Mansell and Martyn.

Don’t need another tall against the saints who probably won’t have a recognised ruck or 1 at best. We’re playing at marvel so need to keep up our speed. Bring in CJ to help Nank the week after against the demons.

Don't get this thinking. If Soldo was fit we would be playing both him and Nankervis regardless of opposition or where we play. Neither of those two can go forward and play kp like CCJ.

Just my opinion but CC-J provides lots of things. First we dont have to rob our backline of a kpd to fill in in the ruck, what a nonsense that is.
Second CCJ provides a genuine forward option as well, it  may just free Lynch up and fmd he can not offer less up fwd than what the likes of Aarts and Rioli have so far this yr.
Last Nankervis needs a chop out better CCJ than one of our key defenders imo. Do you ever see any team unless forced upon them mucking around with their key defensive structure even when playing shorter fwd lines. It has to be rare as hens teeth so why do we do it.

Agree with you Claw time to play CCJ been in good form and kicking goals need another marking target and chop out Nank.Doesn’t matter saints have none of there ruckman perfect timing to ease him in and play a block of games.

AFL Team Whispers: Tiger in the mix now club ban is over

RICHMOND will strongly consider wasting no time and selecting ruckman Callum Coleman-Jones to face St Kilda now that he’s eligible for AFL selection.

Coleman-Jones, as well as Tigers teammate Sydney Stack, was hit with a club-imposed 10-match suspension after an incident outside a Gold Coast strip club last year that breached AFL protocols and saw them sent from the Richmond’s Queensland-based hub.

After participating in pre-season scratch matches followed by VFL practice games, Coleman-Jones is in the mix to face the Saints. He kicked 2.1 and took four contested against Werribee last week.

“He’s been playing – he’s been in really good form at VFL level so once again he’ll put his hand up for selection which is a positive for us,” Richmond coach Damien Hardwick said.

Coleman-Jones isn’t the only Tigers in the mix, with premiership forward Daniel Rioli poised to earn a recall after being dropped to the VFL and Kamdyn McIntosh available after his concussion.

Mabior Chol was also part of the Richmond captain’s run on Wednesday, suggesting he’s also in the selection frame.
