This chipping, stop start footy is awful to watch. It's got worse as the season has gone on. I thought last night was SHocking, this is worse. Two sides with nothing to play for drags it down to another level of SHocking crap

Agree. That rule and prior opportunity has almost ruined footy making it unwatchable.

The stupid rule just encourages teams to flood back to defend waiting for the turnover. So it's all uncontested chip mark crap to maintain possession and avoid a turnover rather than kick goals  .

As I said if they haven't changed the nominated ruck rule after five whole years of universal condemnation they ain't changing the stand which still has plenty of apologists anytime soon.....also note the AFLW will have the rule this season as well....so unfortunately it ain't going anywhere for the foreseeable future..

As I said if they haven't changed the nominated ruck rule after five whole years of universal condemnation they ain't changing the stand which still has plenty of apologists anytime soon.....also note the AFLW will have the rule this season as well....so unfortunately it ain't going anywhere for the foreseeable future..

They dumped the sub rule though which was great.

We can only hope!
