The Club on its membership website has released a new slogan "Year of the Tiger Army" and a new video called "'G it's good to be back":

k members, and we paid a Collingwood fan to pretend to support us. That’s sloppy at best. #GoTiges

Email from Nisbett to members today said we [Eagles] are over 90,000 and tracking well to break 100,000 again.

But also said all seated members will fit inside the stadium with WA's current 75% capacity rule (45,000). So we must have a lot of pet members!

The way the afl is handing out kids memberships for both boys and girls make the numbers largely irrelevent.

Anyone that plays junior footy gets a membership for free, you don't even get to choose your team, they are just allocated, my daughter is a saints member, and she never asked for it, and we have never paid a cent.

You can only imagine how many thousands of kids in western Australia are in the same position for the west coast eagles.

It would be nice to see how the growth in junior memberships has changed over the last 5 years.

Its creative accounting set up to reinforce the AFL brand to the state and federal governments to increase funding from them.

Has nothing to do with supporting an AFL club.

Only thing that matters is the crowds really.

Mind you my 2yo is a paid RFC member :D

How can win a flag after 50 odd years and only have 45,000 members. Its a disgraceful performance from the demons.
