Yup was excellent tonight.
sheesh we agree wonders will never cease.

Showed his true value and imo has not been as bad as many think anyway.

Would still like us to have a big decently quick player to partner him. I suppose its why i hope Miller can get games.

People need to remember with Miller what actually got him drafted. Strong in the air good agility and very quick.

Still think we need a Tarrant type to lock away a player like Hawkins and players like Grimes and Miller on a player like Cameron. Miller gets him deep and Dylan hounds him up the ground.

I agree he was courageous and busted his nut.  I feel like he really works hard and in a few games he got pinged by the umps for bs that everyone else gets away with 9 times out of 10.  He took some good contested marks too which shows he is getting back to what I remember admiring about him when he was with the other lot

Tiger Tough Tarrant

It’s hard enough any time to take on powerful Geelong spearhead Tom Hawkins, let alone when you’ve undergone surgery to have a plate inserted in your hand after breaking a knuckle.

In a performance that endeared himself to new Tiger teammates, coaches and supporters alike, the former Kangaroo kept Hawkins to just eight disposals all-up and no goals.

After an iffy start as a Tiger, Tarrant's last couple of weeks have been very good. Credit where it's due.

Yep very nice work today. He has taken over Astbury role perfectly

Not saying he is an A grade player or that Ben M wouldnt be better, but seriously who is running the show down at North? WTF were they thinking getting rid of this guys leadership.

Is it true that Paul roos come in as a consultant with Noble then peeed off back to Hawaii?

Stupid mistakes like this should not ultimately reward them a PP. They are a disaster.

He was playing hurt earlier in the year
When fit, he’s a definite A-grader
Let’s see how he’s tracking in a few weeks time as he builds to 100%

Tarrant was an unrestricted free agent. They did offer him a new deal but he took our offer instead

Yes Roos is currently living in Hawaii and supposedly still on the N0rt payroll  :o

i get that WP, but clearly the offer was rubbish hence why he left.

I would hate that club get rewarded for idiotic decisions like this one and also the Roos one.

I thought Roos offered two years also but it was more that he wanted to win some games and have a crack at finals/flag.

Made a good choice, flag or not.

Roos original offer was 1 year

When we offered 2 years, they then matched that. Too little to late

He plays like he has ownership in the club and is showing  leadership, exactly what North need, probably more than a young selfish forward / ruck
