Burchall shot from 40 doesn't make the distance.

Lace out pass by Seymour to Brennan 40 out. Falls short as well. Saints clear.

Stays in our F50, kick to the hot spot is crumbed by Stahl who snaps a goal  :gotigers.

Stupid ump blows the whistle which made our girl stop when she was running clear out of D50 and she then gets tackled  :banghead.

At this level you shouldn't:
Kick short
Switch play in defensive 50
Handball unnecessarily

Kick long and move the the ball forward at all times

No, at any level with 50 seconds on the clock you don't go short

Half-time

Richmond    2.0     4.0-24
St Kilda       2.1     2.3-15

Goals: Kiely, Bernardi, Wakefield, Stahl.

The first half of that quarter was very good. Play was mostly in our forward half and we created chances.
Second half though we couldn't clear it out of our D50. Silly errors and poor options kicking long to outnumbered contests. Lucky not to concede a goal.

The girls are much improved. The coach has done a good job. They are competitive now.

Standard of the players is clearly higher yet the umpiring (hello HTB!) is still SHocking "interpretations" :facepalm.
