Covid contingency list
« on: March 14, 2022, 02:43:12 AM »
Clubs have until Monday [today] to fill their COVID ‘contingency lists’ with players for this year.

The AFL last week revealed that all clubs can nominate a list of 20 players they can call on as replacements if they fall below 28 available players at least in part due to COVID isolation requirements.

One of the more surprising AFL Covid emergency list top-ups: star suburban ruckman Liam Buxton, an apprentice fire sprinkler fitter, has agreed to go on Richmond's books.

Yep. It was against Collingwood at Punt Rd. He wore #59.

By the way, here's an article about Buxton from 2019 when he was playing for Casey. He was 22 then so that makes him 25 years old now.

Lol.

I saw this dude in the flesh once, watching my bro in law playing for Balwyn in the EFL under Rocket Eade.

I'll never forget watching him run on from the bench and thinking fmd this guy is way too huge to be playing EFL and Danny from Balwyn is about to get slammed.

He knows he is big and enjoys throwing it around but he was fair about it.

And rocket Eade was a dead set prick. Not surprised at all that his coaching style doesn't go the distance anymore. Just berated the kids all day and made them feel so small it was embarrassing.
