Looking at this team hard to see a spot for MRJ, Sonsie Stack.
The only scenario where these 2 get a game would be via Cotchin and Prestia being out (via injury) or George getting dropped.
Maybe Dan Rioli going out as well but cannot see it.

So on paper I guess we are looking OK this week.

The result will be interesting but TBH, I think we will get flogged by 40+

Hopefully will be proven wrong

I think we are playing 1 HBF type too many. On team balance I don’t think we need all of short, ralphsmith and Rioli but one of them (Rioli for me) will likely be dropped when vlas returns in the next 1-2 weeks.

Elsewhere I see Castagna, Parker (has been very good the last 2 weeks so deserves his spot) and may be an unpopular opinion but Picketts (has played some good footy, but his decision making with his disposal, tendency to go for the man rather than the ball when not in possession which frequently results in conceding free kicks still irks me) spots up for grabs in the coming weeks. Then you’ve got the older players (jack, cotch, edwards) who can be rotated and rested every 4 or so games and I think there’s plenty of spots there for the kids to come in and get some experience.

From Barrett's Sliding Doors column:

IF ...
The ins are Prestia and Riewoldt, and even if one of the outs is Grimes...

THEN ...
it is still a net gain. Particularly when the opposition injuries are to key backs Keath and Cordy.

Bit disappointed to be honest.

I mean to say Miller for Grimes, Riewoldt for Soldo and Prestia for Ross  was just plain old common sense.
What i would have liked em to do was find a way to play Sonsie for Castagna !!!!! jeezus h Geez how much longer is the dud going to be gifted games?  and I really think it is time to bite the bullet and just play Collier - Dawkins instead of Aarts.

If it was dowm to me i would have even gone one more and picked Mansell instead of one of one of Edwards and Baker who have been ordinary.

We have injuries and poor form yet we are not giving kids a go. Looks like they will only get a go when finals are out of reach mathmatically.

Sonsie and Soldo in the VFL team according to the VFL match stream.

So either Ross or Mansell will be the sub.
