Massimo D'Ambrosio suffered a shoulder injury last week playing in Richmond's VFL side but will only miss four weeks.

Ben Miller is poo.  No chance of playing senior footy anytime soon

Topped our disposal count. Not bad for a 196cm player. Also noticed swans kicked only 9 goals for the game.

Had some embarrassing turnovers but is improving so that’s something

He got the footy 23 times. He had 16 or 17 kicks. I didnt see the game but even if he had 2 or say 3 bad kicks it diesnt really matter. Key defenders dont usually get this much of the ball it suggests our midfield was rubbish and our defenders were under constant pressure. The midfield is the problem not Ben Miller or Biggy or whoever else was in defence.

Richmond VFL coach Steve Morris provides a summary of how the Tigers’ players performed in last Friday afternoon's Round 11 match against Sydney at Lakeside Oval.

Tyler Sonsie (25 disposals, six rebound-50s, five marks, one goal)

"Tyler had a decent game. Whilst he accumulated a lot of the footy, the opposition mids did as well. We would like to see him have a little bit more of an impact on the game with his possessions as we know he is capable of that."

Ben Miller (25 disposals, 11 rebound-50s, six marks)

"Was solid as a part of our back six and did a good job under tremendous heat and he used the footy well for most of the day."

William Martyn (21 disposals, seven rebound-50s, three inside-50s)

"Will needs to tidy up his accountability at times but he is in really good form at the moment and had some great contest wins again on the weekend and used the ball pretty well on the day."

Jake Aarts (20 disposals, three clearances, three tackles)

"Aartsy was pretty sore on the day, particularly in the second half and just kept trying. His intent and effort for his team can never be questioned."

Thomson Dow (20 disposals, six clearances, one goal)

"Thomson really stood out at stoppage and kicked a beautiful goal on his left foot. He probably lacked accountability at times but his stoppage work stood out."

Tom Brown (20 disposals, six marks, three inside-50s)

"Browny found a lot more footy on the weekend as a result of good positioning. He needs to be a little more diligent with his man and lock him away but he's using the footy really well when he's got it in his hands at the moment. He's taken some good steps forward in the last couple of weeks."

Sam Banks (20 disposals, eight rebound-50s, five marks)

"Sam was one that really stood out with his work-rate deep into the game. His effort couldn't be questioned and he used the ball really well once again. He's in great form."

Sydney Stack (17 disposals, four marks)

"Sydney tried really hard, he played a couple of different roles on the wing and through the midfield. He probably didn't have the impact on the game that we would like but he tried his backside off."

Rhyan Mansell (15 disposals, six marks, one goal)

"It was only Rhyan's second game up forward and it was a much-improved one. You can really rely on Rhyan to play his role and he had three shots on goal which is a really pleasing result for his development up forward."

Bigoa Nyuon (15 disposals, five marks, three rebound-50s)

"Biggie has a pretty good game once again. His aerial contests for most of the day were pretty solid and he is looking to get involved more and more offensively each week."

Riley Collier-Dawkins (14 disposals, five tackles, two inside-50s)

"Like most of our mids, he probably hand-balled too much when he could have used his feet. I think he tried hard on the day but failed to impact in the way that he usually would, but he's been in good form over the past month."

Noah Cumberland (14 disposals, two tackles, one goal)

"Really pleasing game from Noah. He hit the scoreboard, but most importantly he brought his teammates into the game as well, and it was great to see him get rewarded with a late call-up to AFL duties given his recent pleasing form."

Matt Parker (12 disposals, eight tackles, two goals)

"Parks tried hard as highlighted by his eight tackles and he also hit the scoreboard. He missed a couple of opportunities to bring teammates into the game which will be something that he'll work on."

Samson Ryan (11 disposals, five marks, three rebound-50s)

"Samson tried really hard on the day. We looked a better side when he was around the footy in the middle of the ground and he battled valiantly against two really big, strong ruckmen."

Judson Clarke (11 disposals, six marks, four inside-50s, one goal)

"Juddy used the ball extremely well on the day. His ball-use just stands out at this level and he continues to play his role diligently which holds him in good stead going forward."
